What is GM-52™?
GM-52™ stands for GaussMatrix (N52 Grade). It is a proprietary magnetic alignment standard developed to exceed the pull-force and thermal efficiency requirements of standard MagSafe and Qi2 accessories.
While most competitors use standard N35 or N45 magnets to cut costs, lxCase uses exclusively N52 Neodymium—the strongest grade of permanent magnet commercially available for consumer electronics.
